Rabbit Cages

Rabbits are very cute and delicate animals and proved to be an innocent pet that’s why they need extra care. The best way to this is by keeping the rabbits inside the house on rabbit’s cage. But some people might think it a cruel way to treat rabbits but it is not. The truth is rabbits need extra love and care and protective area where they can leave peacefully and grow independently.

So, in order to keep the rabbits inside the house you need indoor rabbit cage or hutch which should be equipped with all the facilities. There are many types and styles of indoor rabbit cages from which you can choose the best that suits your rabbit and budget. But whatever hutches you choose or create keep these few points in your mind.

While buying any indoor rabbit cage always keep in mind about the size of it. Large is always better but if you can’t afford it then go for the small ones. The cage’s height should be minimum of 3 to 4 times the size of the rabbit and should be well ventilated and aerated. But to reduce the space occupied by the cage many peoples like multiple floor cages for their rabbits which is also liked by the rabbits. Having a wired floor may not be a good idea for the rabbit cages because they may hurt rabbit legs. You can put any wooden sheet to avoid this and while the time of litter you can remove that sheet so that it can easy for you to clean up the mess. If your rabbit is well trained then putting litter box can be a good option.

For your indoor rabbit cage side door will be more suitable than top opening door. It is because it will be easy for you as well as for your bunny to in and out of the cage easily and also easy for your bunny to escape from the cage by himself if he is roaming alone. You also have to make sure that all the edges and the opening of the cage should be covered properly other wise your bunny may get injured or get scratched up. So, while buying indoor rabbit cage you should make sure that you should well aware of these facts
