Rabbits are one of the cutest, lovable and innocent pets. They need well ventilated and spacious hutches to live and grow. The good rabbit hutch should have following qualities - should protect them from predators, allow them to hoop and play, allow them to relax and allow them to live scare free life. - Wooden Enclosures – It is the most common and popular cage type for the rabbits though it is not the best choice but still it is appreciated by most users because of its simple design and affordable price. This type of designs have wooden floor with wired bottoms and door in the front. Vertically the roof is bit high, so that the rabbit can hoop and play.
- All-Wired Cage– This type rabbit cage is easier to make and is widely used. Although it is very much used for the indoor purpose but suitable for the outdoor purpose as well. This cage is also good for cleaning purpose, and rabbit will get hygienic conditions.
- Single Hutch– Single rabbit hutches are generally for the single rabbit’s. You can keep it inside or outside the house and are very easy to maintain and carry.
- Double Hutch– Double sized rabbit hutches are generally for two or more rabbits. This type of hutch is big in size provided with wide and big space for hoping and playing of the rabbits. It also has big door and high roof so that two or more rabbits can easily adjust in this hatch.
- Multi Storied Hatches– This type of hutch have two or more storied hutches to reduce the space occupied by the hutch. This type of hutch is very much appreciated by the rabbits because it contains extra playing area, ladders and proper arrangements for bedding and sanitations.
So, whatever the type of hutch is the most important thing is the space that it provides for playing, proper ventilation facilities, protection from the predators, and many more.
